- The above information is this weeks chart, this shows that the genre of the song we have chosen, which is Hip Hip/R&B, is very popular. For example:- Rihanna, Beyonce, Rizzle Kicks, Professor Green, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO, Dappy and Gym Class Heroes. These are all artists of that genre and are doing very well, this shows that there is definately a market/audience for our product as these artists songs have spent weeks in the top end of the UK Top 40 and occasionally re-enter the chart, for example Nicki Minaj's 'Superbass' has been in the chart for 27 weeks and Professor Green's 'Read all about it' has only been in the chart for 2 weeks and is #1.
- Our product is mainstream as the song origionally was in the UK Top 40, also the singer, Beyonce, is signed to Columbia records, part of Sony Entertainment. Also, we have chosen to produce a very mainstream music video for the song, following most conventions and ideologies.
