Throughout my evaluation I have discussed in detail both of our products and explained other important aspects which we based them on. For example, the brand image of our artist and who would our target audience be.
I have really enjoyed doing this course work as it has helped me to develop my skills on a range of different technologies which I have discussed in evaluation question number three. Also by doing this course work I have learnt many aspects of the music industry and how there are lots of things needed to be addressed in order to create a successful music video that would reach a target audience for our chosen genre.
Personally I feel that there were certain parts of our music video that we could have improved upon. Firstly I feel that we could have developed our music video further by perhaps including a narrative which would have helped to add more of a background to the piece. Also I feel that our music video could have been made better if we had included more backgrounds, even though we did have other backgrounds we felt that none of them really fitted the music video, but as said by much of the audience this was something we could have done which would have made our video more enjoyable.
I really enjoyed doing the print project because we already had finished our music video and therefore we also had the main ideas already in place all we had to do was show our target audience that this artist was for their type of music. By sticking to the same colour scheme and having the artist still conforming to the same brand image.
All together I feel that our projects have been fairly good; yes there are things that I would want to improve on if I had more time. But overall I feel that we have done a good piece of coursework and have tried our hardest to create a music video that suited the genre of hip-hop.
